Knowledge Management Mission

Provide information on resources available for the collaboration of projects and information in a virtual workspace for multiple organizations across MCINCR Marine Corps Base Quantico.

Provides Staff with the ability to collaborate on projects/documents in a virtual workspace reduces email congestion by incorporating collaboration tools such as:

This is accomplished through:

1. Workflow Center

• Electronic Routing
• Document Routing

2. SharePoint Administrative Structure

• G-6 provides overall site collection administration

• G-7 provides MCINCR-MCBQ-level KM this includes:

  • Schedules and provides just-in-time and on-the-job training for divisions

  • Liaison between MCINCR-MCBQ staff and G-6 developers on large issues (requirements development, site/page creation, new functionality, etc.)

  • Provides troubleshooting for minor issues (permissions, site design, content management, etc.)
