mission

 

The Administrative Law Branch’s primary mission is to provide the legal service of representing commands at involuntary enlisted administrative separation boards within the LSSA, including all MARFORRES units.  This legal service includes reviewing an enlisted involuntary separation board case file for accuracy, preparing a case file to present to a panel of members, gathering additional evidence if necessary, transcribing the board proceedings including the summarized testimony of witnesses, and creating the final record of administrative separation board proceedings for the command.

 

The Administrative Law Branch’s secondary mission is to provide technical advice regarding involuntary enlisted administrative separations to unit legal officers, OSJA personnel and convening authorities.
