Law Center-NCR provides continuous and effective consolidated legal services in garrison to all operating forces, supporting establishment commands, and individual Marines and sailors within Law Center-NCR’s designated Legal Services Support Area (LSSA).  Its mission is to provide these legal services to supported commands to facilitate their mission accomplishment, unit readiness, maintenance of good order and discipline, and to protect the rights of the accused, as well as the rights and interests of victims of crime.

 

The Law Center provides the full range of legal services beyond the organic capability of a command’s cognizant SJA, in the following functional areas:  military justice, regional post-trial review, administrative law, civil law, ethics, claims and legal assistance.  The organic capability of individual SJA offices varies and the LSSS is responsible for all legal services beyond that organic capability. These functional capabilities are provided by the various branches within the Law Center.

The Law Center-NCR is spread out into four separate locations on board Marine Corps Base Quantico.  The main Law Center-NCR is located at:
