mission

The mission of the Community Relations Office is to foster a positive and proactive military and civilian relationship between MCB Quantico and local and national communities. The Community Relations Office strives to boost the public's awareness of the Marine Corps through direct interaction of military personnel in the community.

Sponsored Visits and Tours

Depending on Quantico’s security posture, visits and tours can be arranged. These visits are coordinated through the Quantico Visitor Control Office and all information pertaining to visits and tours can be found by clicking HERE.

Special Requests

Requests for participation for certain holidays such as Memorial Day, 4th of July and Veterans Day, will be considered on the basis of participant availability and unit operational commitments.  Please be aware that service members cannot officially participate in beauty pageants or serve as escorts for events of a similar nature.

Adopt-A-School

The Adopt-A-School program is a great opportunity for Marines to earn volunteer hours and to make a difference in a child's life.  Schools seeking volunteers may request Marines to:
- assist in school classrooms on a regular basis to support literacy;
- assist at school events that include participation by military units;
- assist with school campus beautification projects;
- serve as guest speakers to support school standards-based goals and curriculum;
- assist with student field trips to military installations to support School curriculum objectives;
- assist with non-fundraising school activities and events such as festivals, sports, events, and community outings;
- serve as mentors within the school environment, in support of academic and social incentive programs.
