Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month
The Navy Sexual Assault, Sexual Harassment, and Suicide Prevention and Response Office released ALNAV 021/21 which references ‘The Watch List: Top Five Signals of Risk for Sexual Assault’, a research-driven tool that can be used in conjunction with the review of the Defense Organizational Climate Survey 5.0 (DEOCS) findings.
The current force-wide command climate assessment is a unique opportunity to capture a single-point summary of emerging climate issues that may increase risk of sexual assault for Sailors and Marines.
In support of SAAPM and the force-wide command climate assessment being conducted during the month of April, please ensure widest dissemination of this awareness tool.
