PSYOP enables the Marine Corps to understand and ultimately achieve effects within the information environment. PSYOP Marines are primarily responsible for the analysis of cultural factors, as well as the development and distribution of products used to cause informational and psychological effects intended to cause a specific, observable, and measurable change in a targets behavior.
