🚧 Maintenance crews will be working as a rolling work zone at the Russell Road Gate while they restripe the road way. Expect slower speeds and short delays around the work zone. Cones will be placed to guide traffic away from wet paint.
🚧 Weather permitting, upon completion of the Russell Road Gate, crews will move to the Fuller Gate and restripe in the same manner.
🚧 The restriping is expected to last till May 10.
From 5 p.m., Friday, May 10, – 5 a.m., Monday, May 13, CSX will close the railroad and pedestrian crossing on Marine Corps Base Quantico located at Potomac Ave. Anyone seeking access to the Town of Quantico during this time should use the Gate 3 entrance on Broadway St. Trucks and large vehicles must use the Henderson Rd. crossing to avoid the overpass on Martin St. Quantico Town residents, business owners, patrons, Systems Command and Marine Corps University personnel are asked to use Martin St. for their safety. The temporary closure is part of the ongoing Quantico Station Improvements Project that includes upgrades to the station, pedestrian access and expanded railway.
