U.S. Marines Sgt. Mehdrina Jeancharles (left) and Sgt. Sophie Jeancharles pose with a Haitian flag during their childhood, in front of their home in Florida. The Jeancharles sisters are twins born in Saint Marc, Haiti and raised in West Palm Beach Fl. Surviving a series of unfortunate events such as natural disasters, the twins moved to the US as teenagers eventually becoming non-commissioned officers in the U.S. Marine Corps.
