With the Burrn Bird still ablaze, Marines lay in an open field screaming for the attention of the first responders. ARFF was asked to assess the injuries of each person aboard the crashed aircraft and rate them by the severity of their injuries. The simulated injuries ranged from third degree burns to broken backs and legs.
