Simulated third degree burns covered more than half of this Marine's body as he laid fully aware of the crash. He was the pilot of the aircraft. As his fellow Marines cried out to him, begging him not to move, the first responders banded him with a red ribbon, therefore classifing him as high risk, high priority.
