Sgt. David Labell, L, instructor trainer, 2nd Lt. Ward Scott, student at The Basic School, and Sgt. Marshall Breaugh, instructor trainer, conduct annual water survival training with the Fire Station 533 at Ramer Hall Gymnasium, Aug. 4. During the scenario, four Marines dove into a pool and simulated spinal, neck and broken leg injuries. The MCITWS five-man team primarily organizes swim qualifications for lieutenants being trained at The Basic School, to include swim qualifications for the national capital region and the Marine Corps Water Survival Instructor Trainer Course.
