Zbynek Pavlacik, chairman of the Jagello 2000, and Beata Bulawa, Jagellow 2000 project manager, greet Colonel Keith Schultz, 917th Operations Group commander, and Lt. Col. Bruce Gootee, 93rd Bomb Squadron, director of operations, after their arrival in a 917th Wing B-52H Stratofortress at the Leoš Janácek Airport in Ostrava, Czech Republic, on Sept. 15, 2010. This marked the first-time a B-52 bomber has visited the Czech Republic. It was flown there to support the 10th Annual NATO Days in Ostrava air show, which is the largest air, army and security show in Central Europe. The Jagello 2000 is an association for euro-atlantic cooperation and is the main organizer of the air show. The 917th Wing is located at Barksdale Air Force Base, La.
