Peter Newstead loads a pallet of NATO food rations into a C-5 Galaxy at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, on Sept. 6. Newstead is an airfreight handler from the 727th Air Mobility Squadron here. Twenty pallets containing more than 27,000, 24-hour daily ration packs were loaded into the aircraft for transport. The packs are designed for cold weather and contain enough food for three meals. The rations were donated by the British Ministry of Defense and will be flown to Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., to aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina. (Photo by Staff Sgt. Jeanette Copeland)
