Per MARADMIN 667/13, the Marine Corps is administering the FY15 Enlisted Retention Survey to enlisted Marines with less than 15 years of service and an EAS between Oct. 1, 2014, to Sept. 1, 2015. The purpose of this survey is to give Marines the opportunity to communicate to senior leaders what factors and incentives have the greatest influence on their decision to either remain in the Corps or to leave active service. This survey also affords Marines the opportunity to express how satisfied or dissatisfied they are with certain aspects of the Marine Corps and the military way of life. The survey was scheduled to end Feb. 28, but to obtain a better response rate, the survey has been extended for two weeks to March 14. Eligible Marines please go to https://www.manpower.usmc.mil/application to provide your valuable feedback. If you have any questions, please contact the Integration & Analysis Section (HQMC MPP-50) at commercial phone number (703) 784-9367, or at email address mpp-50@usmc.mil.

2014 Civilian Employee Command Climate Survey

5 May 2014 | MCBQ Public Affairs Marine Corps Base Quantico

Starting Monday May 5, Marine Corps Base Quantico will solicit input through an online climate survey to assess the organizational climate and identify opportunities for improvement. This will be very similar to the survey conducted about 18 months ago for civilian employees. There were some significant topics identified last year and the commander would like to get a sense of employees thoughts now.

"As the largest element of the Marine Corps Base Quantico team, civilian's thoughts and ideas aout improving the installation, along with our effectiveness as leaders and supervisors, are critical for us to understand in order for us to constantly improve our organization," said David M. Maxwell, base commander.

The questions in this survey are designed to provide an overall assessment of the organization's climate. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity at the end of the survey to provide any other comments or suggestions regarding any aspect of the Marine Corps Base Quantico Command. Responses are strictly confidential and data from this survey will be combined and reported only in an aggregate format. While participant's identity will remain confidential, open-ended comments will be included in the final report.

This survey is being administered by the Organizational and Workforce Management Section, Headquarters Marine Corps. For questions, please contact smb.hqmc.arhb.trng@usmc.mil or 703-604-2755.

The survey will open at 8 a.m. May 5 and will close at 4 p.m. on May 23.

Duty time is authorized for participating in this survey. For the convenience of those without computer access, the command will provide a mobile computer lab at the Facilities and Logistics Services Building, Building 3252, from 8 p.m.to 4 p.m. on 13 and 15 May.

The survey is also accessible from personal computers not on the Marine Corps network.

The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
