Sgt. Daniel Musgrove, OCS, wipes down his Scion TC. Musgrove designed and drew the custom artwork on the car using a Sharpie. “I did it free-hand, and it took about 11 hours,” he said. The designs feature auto parts, airplanes, a turbo snail, and the skyline of his hometown, Pittsburgh.

Construction for Modern Day Marine Military Expo began this week with preparations underway to lay foundations for exhibitor tents going up on the parade field in front of Lejeune Hall. Modern Day Marine Expo will be held Sept. 22-24. Information about road and parking lot closures during construction are available at http://www.quantico.marines.mil/News/NewsArticleDisplay/tabid/10834/Article/616143/modern-day-marine-road-parking-lot-closures.aspx.

At approximately 7:25 a.m. the firemen were the first responders to the fire, where they recovered four individuals. The fire started on the second floor of a bedridden elderly man. Preliminary reports indicate that there were many who fled the fire by foot. Once the fire was extinguished, the firemen recovered Frank Anthony DeSanto, age 69, and first responders pronounced him dead on the scene.
