For OMPF photos every Marine is required to provide a certified height/waist verification form signed by a 1stSgt, CO, SgtMaj, or Bn CO/XO, before their photo will be taken and submitted to MMSB. Marines who are appointed as “acting” for a billet mentioned above can also sign the height/waist verification.
The height/waist verification letter must be dated no more than 30 days for all Marines and must be in accordance with the new MARADMIN 127/26 dated Mar. 24, 2026 .
All height and waist forms must have one of the following required pieces of information listed in the Body Fat Percentage block or on a memorandum:
Marines who arrive without a properly signed height/waist verification form will be turned away and required to schedule a new appointment.
