U.S. Marines with Martial Arts Instructor course 42-26 conduct a group run during the culminating event at The Basic School on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, Feb. 13, 2026. The MAI culminating event combines techniques used within the Marine Corps Martial Arts program in one final test to ensure the Marines are ready to conduct belt advancement within individual units to uphold the tradition of warrior ethos in the corps.
