The Marine Corps Base Quantico Ceremonial Platoon conduct the 21-gun salute during the wreath laying ceremony of Sgt. Maj. Henry Black at the Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, Virginia, November 10, 2025. This wreath laying ceremony honored Sgt. Maj. Henry Black, the seventh Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, who served in active duty from 1948 to 1977, fighting in the Korean War, Vietnam War, and training recruits as a drill instructor at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island.
