Cpl. Brandon Ashby, Ammunition Supply Point, MCB Quantico, with only two days notice competed in the MDW Combatives tournament, Sept. 23 at Fort Belvoir, and placed second. Cpl Ashby's fastest submission of the day was under 13 seconds via Rear Naked Choke vs an Airforce TechSgt. Cpl Ashby has a Brazilian jujitsu background and received his tan tab at the MACE to become an MAI 0916.
