Former U.S. Army Sgt. Charles Chapman, a 90-year-old WWII veteran, is honored at the Wreath Laying Ceremony to mark the 70th Anniversary of the end of WWII at the Quantico National Cemetery, Aug. 16. Chapman, a native of Harrisonburg, Va., joined the Army in 1943, and was assigned to the 69th Infantry Division Artillery. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his service in 1945 on the Siegfried Line on the Belgium-German border.
