Dr. Bruce Heilman, left, 89, a World War II Marine veteran from Richmond, greets Bill Watson, a member of the Band of Brothers Motorcycle Club during his visit to Marine Corps Base Quantico April 23. Heilman attended morning colors prior to embarking on a 6,000 mile cross-country motorcycle trip. Heilman, who is also the chancellor of the University of Richmond, enlisted in the Marine Corps at age 17 and served in the Pacific on Okinawa.
