U.S. Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) poses with Sheila Foxx and Sharon Foxx, the daughters of the late Cpl. Julius B. Foxx Jr. following Friday’s ceremony at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. Foxx, an original Montford Point Marine, was posthumously awarded the Congressional Gold Medal for his service. His daughters accepted the award on their late father’s behalf.
