Quantico Marine Corps Band in Fredericksburg

Also on the 4th of July, the Quantico Marine Corps Band will be performing in Fredericksburg, VA, at the John Lee Pratt Memorial Park with special guest appearance by the Fredericksburg Community Concert Band and the Mid-Atlantic Wind Symphony. More information about performances by the band and their guests can be learned by accessing their Facebook account at www.facebook.com/quanticomarinecorpsband for times and schedules.

The Pentagon

The Pentagon will also be holding reservations for a fireworks show. Attendees must be screened at vehicle access points at River, Memorial Gate and Boundary Channel Drive. Because of limited pedestrian access into the building, authorized attendees will traverse around the building. For building access, current escort privileges will be enforced: one badge holder for up to three guests (Exceptions will be made for immediate family members).

Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling

On Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, a free July 4th Block Party will be held at the Slip Inn. The Event begins at 3:00 p.m., and will be available for all DoD Cardholders and immediate family members. Some activities at the event include: rock climbing, games with cash prizes and free giveaways. At 5:00 p.m. live music will be played by local band, The Fuzz. A fireworks show will be displayed at night. After the show, there will be an after-glow party with music playing by DJ Chris.
