Brandes Marine Corps Base Quantico PRINT SHARE MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO, VA -- MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO, Va. – The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society kicked off its annual Active-Duty Fund Drive at Little Hall on Monday, February 27. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness and gain support for the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, non-profit, volunteer organization that provides financial and education support to United States Sailors and Marines in need, as well as eligible family members and survivors. Marine Corps Base Quantico Commanding Officer, Col. Michael L. Brooks, base sergeant major, Sgt. Maj. Collin D. Barry, NMCRS Director, Lauren Tella, and others, spoke on the importance of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, and how it has supported service members in recent years. In 2022, the Quantico NMCRS issued $400,000 of support to military members and family.
