The 34th Annual MDMME will be held Sept. 23-25, 2014. Defense contractors from around the world will showcase the latest in defense manufacturing, science, technology and warfighting products.
To attend, register at http://www.marinemilitaryexpos.com/modern-day-marine.shtml. Uniformed military personnel are not required to register.
EXPO LOCATION: Lejeune Field, in front of Lejeune Hall.
PARKING LOCATIONS: Parking will be available on Crossroads Inn Field, Chapel Field North (restricted: VIP, media, food vendors), Lejeune Hall Overflow lot (restricted: VIP and media), Chapel Field South and West, Kelton Ave. (restricted: shuttle buses, food vendor supply/delivery and ambulance), Embry Loop (restricted: Security Bn. command post, handicap), Lejeune Hall lot (restricted Lejeune Hall employees), Myers Ave. (restricted: emergency vehicles), MCIA gravel lot, Pruitt Hall, Steam Plant Field, and Overflow Parking: OCS designated lots, South Bauer Road Areas. Shuttle service will be provided from the Davis Center, Marsh Center, Daly Hall, behind Bldg. 2200, Gray Research Center, SNCOA barracks, Pruitt Hall. If the above lots become full, overflow parking will be available at OCS, with shuttle service provided. Engineer Road will be open for afternoon egress from 3 - 5:30 p.m. and personnel West of the Bauer Road bridge are highly encouraged to use Engineer Road for egress.
TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Base traffic will be more congested during normal working hours due to the anticipated high volume of attendees. To reduce traffic congestion, personnel within walking distance of Lejeune Field are highly encouraged to walk to the Expo. All personnel are encouraged to carpool or explore other options for minimizing the number of vehicles on base.

*The Commandant of the Marine Corps will present awards to recipients being recognized for outstanding contributions to the Corps in their occupational fields: Marine Recruiter, Drill Instructor, Career Planner, and Embassy Guard of the Year. The Marine Barracks, Washington, DC, will provide the marching units, the Silent Drill Platoon, and the Marine Corps Drum and Bugle Corps.
