MARINE MEMORIAL CHAPEL

Marine Corps Base Quantico provides a comprehensive Command Religious Program for active duty and retired military personnel, civilian employees, and their family members. The Protestant and Roman Catholic chapel communities offer worship services on Sundays and other special days during the year while featuring robust religious education programs for adults and children.

Located at the Religious & Family Service Center (Bldg. 3019), our Religious Program Specialists are ready to assist in finding the best way to meet your religious needs. The office can aid you in joining with one of the active congregations aboard the base, finding a local civilian congregation, or talking with one of our chaplains.

Our Mission

"Building readiness through Spiritual fitness"

Chaplains and Religious Program Specialists (RPs) exist to support the First Amendment right to the free exercise of religion through PROVIDING or FACILITATING religious services. They CARE for military members, civilian employees, and their dependents through 100% confidential counseling, visitation, advocacy, and referral. Chaplains and RPs ADVISE up and down the chain of command on religious impact to operations, ethics, morale and individual readiness.

Spiritual fitness

"Inner strength from higher purpose"

The goal of the USMC Total Fitness Program is personal readiness, lethality, and resilience. Spiritual Fitness is one of the four pillars and ties the strength of will to act rightly to a greater sense meaning and purpose beyond oneself.
