An Explotrain OMG unit hidden across the street had produced the accompanying “boom,” while a Badger AK-47 simulator seemed to bring to life the shooter dummies in nearby windows. Powell operates all the devices by remote control.

The parking lot across from the Gray Research Center closed June 6, 2013, and is already being torn up to make way for a three-deck parking garage. Meanwhile, parking is available in the overflow lot across Martin Street, as well as at a gravel lot that opened June 6 where Freeny Field used to be.
