Spring is here and with it comes many outdoor activities, including the end of the physical fitness test season. For those who are interested in better PFT scores, fitness and overall health, the base fitness trainers have put together five exercises designed for improvement.

The final exercise in the series is Sprinter Starts.

This exercise is designed to be done with the aid of a suspension training system and is recommended to be conducted three times a week in three sets of 30 seconds each, with one minute of rest between each set.

A Sprinter Start is an exercise intended to help improve run times and overall fitness when conducted properly.

Grasp the resistance bands in both hands with your elbows bent and your arms close to your body. Position your legs so your body is at a 45-degree angle.  Begin running in place bringing our knees forward.
    Repeat.
