Two lanes of Russell Rd when travelling under the I-95 overpass will be closed for bridge inspections on Tuesday, May 22 and Wednesday, May 23, 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction during this period so there will be no stopping of traffic.

Bridge Inspections under I-95 on Russell road:

- A section of Russell Road will have alternating Single Outside Lane and Shoulder Closures for each direction of travel. Tapering lane closure will begin approximately 2000 ft. from the bridge.

- A minimum of one lane of traffic will remain open at all times when closures are in place. Only one direction of travel will be worked on at a time.

- Lane closure with signage will be installed per Virginia Work Area Protection manual.

- Access to Emergency vehicles will not be affected during inspections.
