Marine Corps Base Quantico -- The Combined Federal Campaign began aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico Sept. 1 and will run until December. The CFC is the only way that federal employees can donate to charities of their choosing in an official capacity. To officially kick off the CFC, Headquarters and Service Battalion will be hosting its annual CFC Field Meet today on Barnett Field from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The field meet will consist of three stages, including the battle skills training stage that will focus on basic Marine skills, the Spartan stage which will test the physical limits of each competitor and the Zombie gauntlet that will test each team’s strategic decision making abilities.
