Marine Corps Base Quantico (MCBQ), Marine Corps Air Facility (MCAF) - For five continuous quarters Dwyer Hall, the mess hall located at Marine Corps Air Facility, has been awarded Mess Hall of the Quarter for Marine Corps Base Quantico. On 8 November the base commander, Col. Michael Brooks presented the Dwyer Hall staff with its latest award.

Gunnery Sergeant Hawkins, the Food Service Branch operations chief, attributes the success at Dwyer Hall to the dining experience. “It is such a warm and friendly environment thanks to the staff and employees,” he said. “With it being a small mess hall, there are more opportunities to connect with the Marines.”

When asked what’s next for Dwyer Hall, John Beck, the general manager for Sodexo was clear. “We will not only continue this standard but raise the bar.”
