Frank served in the Navy from 1944–1946. He was stationed in the Pacific and served on the PA45/USS Henrico as an electronic technician during WWII.
Helena Rodgaard, now living in Burke, Virginia, served as a private in the British Army for four years and was part of the Army Territorial Service (ATS), the British Army Reserve.
Tom served in the Army Air Corps during WWII, as well as in the Air Force, from which he retired as a chief master sergeant. He began his military career at Mitchel Field, where he had basic training. He then transferred to Illinois for tech school and traveled overseas to England.

Security Battalion of Marine Corps Base Quantico conducts numerous exercises to implement safety, best practices, situation readiness and maximum capability to meet any challenge in its mission to secure the installation. The ability to counter any threat or breach to Quantico's daily operations/purpose is constantly maintained through routine and thorough training measures.
Teri Reece, Blue Star Mothers president, Rhonda Kuebler, Blue Star Mothers member, and Sharon Kendall, Blue Star Mothers member, participate in the annual Wreaths Across America Dec. 12 at Quantico Netional Cemetery in Triangle, Virginia. After seven years, the group continues to support veterans and their families at this annual Wreaths Across America event. In addition to the wreaths, the members raised funds to send approximately 400 care packages to deployed troops overseas during the holidays.

The annual Wreaths Across America wreath-laying ceremony at Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle, Virginia, is held in unity with national cemeteries nationwide Dec. 12 to honor the military and their families who have served and are serving in the Department of Defense. Members of the community can support the wreath clean-up Feb. 6.
