SNCO ACADEMY NEEDS FACULTY ADVISORS

MCB QUANTICO, V.A. --The Staff Noncommissioned Officer Academies are in search of Marines to serve as Faculty Advisors at one of the six academies across the Marine Corps. All Marines from Sergeants, selected for Staff Sergeant through Master Sergeant are encouraged to attend an upcoming brief aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico on 1 February at 12 p.m. The Marines of the Quantico Staff Noncommissioned Officer Academy will host the brief and conduct screenings at the Marine Corps University’s Warner Hall Auditorium.

Applicants will receive an in-brief from the Academy Director which will include:

• Faculty Advisor billet description along with roles and responsibilities
• The daily routine and quality of life of a Faculty Advisor
• Promotion and career benefits during and after the assignment

Immediately following the brief, the screening/interview process will begin.  Applicants should be prepared for the following:

• Q&A board
• Delivery of 5 minute presentation on a topic of their choosing.
• Final interview with Academy leadership
