Marine Corps Base Quantico

Weapons Training Battalion Commanding Officer Col. Glenn R. Guenther and the Marine Corps Combat Shooting Team will be hosting the Annual Quantico Combat Shooting Competition May 29 - 31 at MCB Quantico’s Weapons Training Battalion. This year’s honorary guest will be Maj. Brian R. Chontosh, a Navy Cross recipient. 

The Combat Shooting Team is looking for eligible shooters to register before May 10, 2013. The match is a three gun competition testing shooter’s abilities to transition from rifle, shotgun and pistol while maintaining a combat mindset. For the first time there will be a stage that will consist of two 3-Gun Nation qualifiers and the event will recognize the top unit Fire Team.
